Wanted to tick 2 boxes, when ever I can get away with it, and at least 10 % over
Cheers
Mick

PS another box needed, when it is relatively safe to do so!!

Re: Speed limits Private Poll: No names no pack drill

I drive/ride according to the conditions.

I can never accept that speed kills - if that were true then Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton would be dead!!

Its driving without due care and attention that causes collisions - there are very few pure accidents.

Of course, we all like to think we are the greatest driver/rider and the limits should not apply to us, but it is not the speed that harms, its the that bloody sudden stop!!

The lawmakers say that it would not be so serious if you were going a bit slower - I reckon you just need a bit more distance to get your brakes on.

Too fast and too close - a bad combination

In 30's, 40's and average speed zones, i set the cruise control!

In national speed limit zones its a different kettle of fish!
It's not the speed, it's people getting too close, not paying attention, not making allowances for the effects of their manoevres on others, and people who look without seeing!
