Re: Road tae the isles

Dunno if Tams workin in the mornin but I'm easy what time, would prefer in the mornin' rather than pm.
the route would be M8, Erskine Bridge, A82 round by Tarbet then down the peninsula A815? To Colintraive, the ferries are regular and it's a great ride round there even on the wettest day

Anybody remember a coupla years back when we did a camp at Colintraive got soaked to the bone but still had one of the best weekends ever in an old barn dryin off
eatin fresh mussells picked by hand on the shore of the loch ahhhhhh majic

Any body else wanna go the long way roond? all welcome

Re: Road tae the isles

I'm working Thursday so may go over to the island that evening.
I'll most likely, definitely, probably go back the long way round.

Patience is a virtue big man

A've been thinkin' ( can yae here the cogs turnin' )

Maybees the best plan might be to go straight to the island on Thursday and as Scotty says take the long way back on Sunday.

Soooooooooooooooo..........what about meetin at Deer Park then doon tae BCC tae meet Michael, Tony an co. then head off to Wymess Bay from there.
That way we all arrive on Bute at the same time and we can get the campsite organised in some semblance of order before havin light refreshments ?
