Re: In memory of Phil Knee

Thanks for putting up this picture Carole
It was taken at this years Coasters Post Christmas Party.
When I heard the name Phil Knee, I asked other Coasters whether I knew Phil and I was told that he was one of the Three County Borderers and was always at the Triple.
The funny thing is, having seen the photo , I know exactly who Phil is.
Phil for me, had one of those faces For many years at the Triple and other places I have glanced over at Phil and he glanced back at me and I have thought " I know that guy ! " but from where I could never figure, but i thought it must have been from way back when.
In all that time we had never spoken

But , I guess it must have been within minutes of this picture being taken , that I finally decided to solve the mystery . I nailed Phil at that very bar and bought him a pint " Are you welsh ? " I said.

No he wasn't and no I didn't know him from the past but we had a brilliant chat and he was a very nice bloke .I'm sure Phil and I could have become good friends .
It is very sad that Phil only a few months ago, who looked so happy and full of life is no longer with us

Ride the wind Phil .

and condolences to his family and friends.

Mike

Re: In memory of Phil Knee

I've just heard the very sad news. I never know what to say at times like this, I just sit facing the screen thinking of the good times past, and other missing friends. Our thoughts go out to Phil's family and friends at this very sad time. He will be greatly missed, we've had some laughs with the 'Mitchel Brothers' at the Triples.
