Thumbs down R.I.P. Steve Foan Harlequin Cartoonist. Funeral Arrangements in first post.

Some may remember seeing very good Cartoon drawings in the Harlequins of yesteryear and also in BSH. Steve was a member of the club and lived in the Bristol area. Often seen with the 2 other Steve's from the area, will always remember him at Littlecote 89 and 90 as one of the 3 amigo's, full of fun and laughter...as the email message which I received late yesterday from Steve Farnell says:

Foany passed away @04.00 this morning............................He`s in Heaven now, he kept us waiting way past his 3 months but he always was a stubborn old Sod!
I don`t know as it was so long ago whether anyone would remember the contributions he made to "Harleyquinn" with "Marlon" and his Cartoons etc. I really don`t know how to report the news to everyone who may have known him, or of him He always managed to sneak his face in the pictures of BSH, vain swine.

Funeral Arrangements.

A MESSAGE FROM HEATHER, STEVE'S WIFE:

The funeral has been confirmed for July 16 at All Saints Church, Wraxall at 1pm. I suggest bikers should meet at the Battleaxes Car park at around 12.15pm in good time to lead Steve off on his final ride out.

It is back to the Battleaxes afterwards.

It is family flowers only, but donations are being asked for to Children's Hospice South West and the National Association of Disabled Bikers. These can be made either on the day or via L Bennett and Son Funeral Directors, 9 Queens Road, Clevedon BS21 7TH.
By the way, Its 12.15 pm meet up at the Battleaxes, Wraxall, BS48 !LW
for those of you with A-Z-.Bugger sat navs

Many thanks

Re: Steve Foan Harlequin Cartoonist

I knew him and remember his cartoons, they were very professional and witty. I think he got "Scribe of the Year" for the best 'Quin contribution one time back when we had annual awards given at each AGM. An effort well worth being remembered for.

Ref Funeral and more....I am in contact with Andy and trying to get cartoons from Steve Farnell or Steve missus to publish a tribute in the Quin. You will get one last laugh from him...

Heather,Steves Missus, will be arranging All that and will let
