R.I.P. Boss: Trubute in BSH page 105. See post # 82

It is with the greatest sadness i have to inform everyone that BOSS, Paul Richardson passed away this afternoon, 23.09.07, he died in hospital after suffering acute renal failure. Sylv is taking phone calls and would appreciate a call or visit from all friends in the club.

Funeral details.

The funeral will be held on Saturday 6th October at 11.00am. This is exactly the same time and day Boss and Sylv got married two years ago.
We will be meeting at The Tap House Bar, Anwell Lane, Smisby, Ashby-De- La-Zuch, LE65 2TA, which is the old Ashby to Burton Rd. between Ashby and Woodville, at 09.30am -10.00.am. After the funeral we are going back to the pub for the rest of the day, we will be in the function room to celebrate Boss's life on the Saturday night. B&B is available at the pub.
Tap House 01530 413604
The Cedars 01530 412017
Premier Guest House 0870 1977281

There is also secure camping in a barn behind Boss's house for Friday and Saturday night
Boss will be at home on the morning of the funeral for people wanting to say personal goodbyes, this would be most appreciated by Sylv.
anyone wanting any more information please call Sylv at home or me on 07710 934832
Sylv as requested family flowers only and all donations to be made to Dogs Trust, something that Boss and Sylv have been involved with for some time

Re: R.I.P. Boss

I'm deeply saddened to hear this. I'd known Boss all the time I've been with this club; very much one of a kind, you couldn't invent the bloke.

Over the years I've laughed with him, partied with him, cursed him and consoled him; all I can do now is miss him.

The only thing bigger than Paul was his heart; he'd do anything for anyone.

Memories; that BMF Rally where Paul volunteered to go in the "Bungie Ball" with Big Trev; 64 stone of hairy-arsed bike projected into the Cambridgeshire sky. Trev bottled out, much to the relief of the ride's owner!

We've lost a great character, and a passionate and devoted servant of this Club.

My deepest sympathies to Sylv and Paul's family.

My deepest sympathies to his family and to all those who knew, loved and partied with him.

This is a reminder that life is short and we must enjoy it as best we can.

Best wishes
