R.I.P John Landale (Langy)
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to report the tragic death of my good friend John Landale (Langy). John was involved in a car crash on the Pool Road on Friday night and died at the scene.

John was a true larger than life character and will be known to many despite not being a member of our club.

John accompanied me on my first ‘road trip’ riding down from Orlando to Key West and back for Daytona bike week some years ago and my memories of that trip will live with me unit I too depart this earth.

John was a caring and loveable person and it is a pleasure and an honour to have known him and spent time in his company.

Rest in Peace John mate.

As we travel Life's weary journey,
And plod through the gathering years,
With our burdens of care and sorrow,
O'er a pathway bedewed with tears.
If, perchance, for a fleeting moment
Our hearts should with rapture swell,
We have added but one more sorrow,
When we bid the glad time "Farewell".



I am sighing a farewell message,
As I sit in the gathering gloom.
Farewell to all earthly sorrows,
Then - rest, in the silent tomb.
Farewell to the trees, and flowers,
To mountain, and stream, and dell,
Farewell to the glorious sunlight,
To the moon and stars, "Farewell"

Condolences to you Graham for the loss of your good mate and to Langy's family and other friends.

Make sure your rear foot boards/pegs are down for him next time you go for a ride mate.
