| Last week John died while driving his lorry. John had heart attack at the wheel of his lorry , fortunately it came to rest on a lamp post and no one else involved. I know many people will be saddened and miss him. One of the regulars to The Old Timers Rally and well known to us. Last edited by BaZa ®; 19-06-2008 at 09:31 PM. Reason: updated post |

| Re: R.I.P. John MacRae (HDRCGB Member) I met John a handful of times at the Vintage rallies, he had a wealth of information and experience about older Harleys. A very sad loss to the Club and to motorcycling in general. Deepest sympathies to family and friends. Karl |

| Re: R.I.P. John MacRae (HDRCGB Member) I had the pleasure of Johns acquaintance for many years, he was one of those guys who would just pop up anywhere. John was a regular at the High Beech, the Ace cafe, Brightona in fact anywhere you care to mention he would be there on his 45. Always a cheerful guy. I am sad to see yet another Harley rider gone but not forgotten. Steve |

| Re: R.I.P. John MacRae (HDRCGB Member) We were putting the world to rights at my local a couple of weekends ago, extolling the virtues of side valves, pans, and shovels, and mocking modern engineering. You will be sadly missed.......RIP
