Re: Yoffi (Darren Mulliner from Dockgate 20) R.I.P.

From Tony Tate, Dealer Principal, Dockgate20

All the staff at Dockgate are completely and utterly stunned by the loss of Darren. He was the life and soul of any party and kept us all smiling whatever was going on.

All of our thoughts are with his family. We will endeavour to let everyone now about arrangements etc as and when we know them, via forums, websites and mailouts.

To clear up any rumours, the Police have informed Darren's family that it was a'no fault' accident and that Darren was in fact going below the speed limit.

Thank you to everyone who has been in touch to offer their condolences and to share their memories of Darren (there are too many to mention!).

Tony T

Spoke to Red at DG20, there's a full account of Darrens tragic accident in the Echo.

Daily Echo | News, sport and features from your favourite Hampshire & Southampton newspaper website

Doesn't make it any easier.

Tributes Pour In For Popular Bike Fanatic (from Daily Echo)

Tributes pour in for popular bike fanatic
By Corey Stephenson

A WELL-known Hampshire motorcyclist has died following a collision with a lorry.
Bike-mad Darren Mulliner, assistant sales manager at Southampton's Dock Gate 20 Harley Davidson dealership, was killed after an accident in Norfolk while on his way to a bikers' meeting in Lincolnshire.
Tributes have been paid to the 39- year-old who is described as a "larger than life" character and a "real family man".
Tony Tate, dealer principal at Dockgate 20 Harley Davidson said staff and customers were still shocked by the news. "It really is a great shame," he said.

Tony said Darren, who lived with his family in Gosport, had been at the dealership for seven years where he had built up friendships with colleagues and customers to the business and was known as "Yoffi".
"Everyone knew Darren. It's like a community here with staff and customers where everyone knows each other by first names and we are breaking the news to people as they come in and they are all very upset.
