Cant say how. I feel for you all.
I use that road almost everyday and almost always on me harley.
I live in Hertford and our paths may have crossed at some time in the past
you are from stevenage, are you not.
was speaking to a copper mate of mine tonight
and expressed my disgust at the evil shithouse that has caused such a terrible loss to you and indeed to all his riding bretheren
he was very reassuring, in that they will catch him, it may take some time but he says he has been involved in similar incidents. and through forensic evidence eg paint etc, they will catch him.
so sorry for your loss.
I am In Hertford and can be contacted through this site anytime
if there is anything I can do.
RIP
fellow Herts rider
Spice

To Spice from Hertford, those are reassuring words and I thank you for the kind thoughts, I may well contact you sometime. You may have known Bill from Ultimate Audio who was a Harley rider and kept it in his shop until he moved to France...

It is now on the Herts Police Press release website, so I can now tell you that his name was Dennis Crook and he was a loving Dad, with a lovely Fiance mentioned elsewhere on these posts. They were a great couple, and she is holding up well in the circumstances. She is doing a TV interview tomorrow so look out for that locally on Anglia News tonight.

He will probably be remembered at Black Bear for buying his fiance's Sportster recently even though she hadn't then taken her test, he was a memorable man. He was also well known at Bike pavillion in Letchworth, where they are holding his wake.

Thanks to all of you for letting us share our grief as it really helps to know people care.

With gratitude to you all

Rich
