Re: Kevin Parrington aka yorkshire_bloke R.I.P.

Just read of this very sad news, as I have been offline for 2 weeks, deepest sympathies to Kath and families in this very difficult time, The first time I really spoke to Kev and Kath was when stood freezing cold outside the doors of the yorkie winter party a good few years ago, where they let Maggie and myself share thier taxi and get us back to our hotel as I had no idea where it was. A really nice couple, I am sure he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
RIP Paul (halfwrecked) Taylor.

What a sad day for Kath and her family. I didn't know him but he was a biker, so a friend. My deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. I will say a prayer for him and his loved ones.
R.I.P. Kevin.

Re: Kevin Parrington aka yorkshire_bloke R.I.P.

I will always remember the first time I met Kev.

A few of us had arranged to meet up at the NEC bike show. From memory it was pretty much the first time the Northern 'Howdoers' & a clutch of Southern 'jessies' had met up.

There we were on the HD stand exchanging jokes, putting faces to people we'd only 'spoken' to online & working out where their, in some cases very obscure, web names came from & up strolled Kev with an "eh up lads, I'm Yorkshire bloke".

Wonderful deadpan delivery that made everyone crease up at the time

We nattered for quite a while about 'proper' bike stuff & each time I met Kev thereafter he remembered exactly the previous conversation we'd had and gave me little updates on stuff he knew I'd be interested in.

Really great bloke and I'm totally stunned to hear such sad news. Huge condolonces to all his family and friends.
