Re: Kevin Parrington aka yorkshire_bloke R.I.P.

I didn't know Kevin, and don't know you, but my condolances too, Kath. Somehow though, those words say nowhere near enough. It seems he left after a day in the saddle. I hope he's giving riding lessons up there somewhere.

At my age, it brings home my own mortality.

Kath my heart goes out to you at this time. I know that you have not only lost your husband, but your soul mate and best biking buddy you could ever have had. I cannot find the words to say how deeply saddened I am for your tragic and premature loss.

My deepest condolences to you and your family.
RIP Kev, a genuine 'Yorkshire Bloke'

Re: Kevin Parrington aka yorkshire_bloke R.I.P.

As some of you will have read, just a couple of weeks ago Kath and Kev were in Australia, planning a sunnier future, and joined myself and Lawnmower Mark for some convivial supping and even a little riding.

We were both shocked and horrified to get such awful news here yesterday, and would like to offer our sincere condolences to not only Kath, but also others who have known and loved Kev for years, not least his own family.

I reckon it's doubly tragic that they had so much to look forward to. Kev was, like Kath, in high spirits about new frontiers and opportunities.

And at this point, unusually, words do fail me as well.
