Went to the Funeral today, and Mike had a fitting send off for El Presidente as he was known to the Eagle Riders - a club that he started up when he parted company from New Forest Hog. Having known Mike and his wife for many years I went to pay my respects and represent Region 19 as Assistant Rep. (John the Organiser is away on hols) along with several other New Forest who came as well. The police who helped with the traffic say there were approx. 500 bikes in the procession - as I said a fitting send off.

| Re: Sudden Heart Attack: R.I.P. Mike Fennemore I would like to thank everyone for their messages of condolence and to all those who were able to attend the funeral. Mikes family knew biking was his passion but never realised the extent of his popularity in the biker fraternity. It was a fitting tribute to Mike and an enormous show of respect for Mike and his family that so many people attended his funeral. I know a lot of HRCGB members may not have known him but it’s safe to say if you had met him you would have had a friend for life. No matter what bike you ride or what club you belong to Mike would have greeted you as if he had known you forever. The last words I heard mike say to a fellow ER member on Saturday 4th July as we were leaving our event for that day was, “You gotta get out and ride your bike as much as you can, cos you never know when you’ll have to stop” He was so right! So on behalf of Mike, his family, and The Eagle Riders, I thank you for the support you have given and wish you all safe long riding. Thank You All Tony Oakshott, Eagle Rider |

| Re: Sudden Heart Attack: R.I.P. Mike Fennemore I’d just like to add a small piece to this thread. I joined the Eagle Riders at the back end of last year. Mike Fennemore was the first person I met and spoke to at the Good Companions monthly meet. A real friendly guy and gentleman to. The send off the Eagle Riders gave to Mike was testament to his popularity, and what a credit to all the other bike clubs who joined the funeral cortege which made just an awesome spectacle. I would just like to wish Tony and the rest of the team all the very best in continuing to keep the Eagle Riders as a club.
