Pink splattering

Anyone any clues what the pink spattering is that appears after every ride on my V-Rod? It appears to be coming from high up under the back of the air box on the right of the bike, and is never any amount that would be alarming spattering lightly over exhaust, swing arm, frame and rear of engine. It comes away with a damp cloth.
I guess I need to know should I have the bike in for a check-up, or run with it as it's no real problem to me?

do you have a K&N filter fitted?
if so it could be filter oil John
thats pink and oily.
or it could allways be blood from some roadkill

Had a very similar problem with mine. Found out it was hoseclip leaking coolant only a slight drip and that was a pink colour, tightened all the clips up and everything has been OK since. So would suggest you just tighten any clips you can see, also try and see where it might be coming from. Mine tended to drip when engine was cold, not after a ride. Hope this helps.

yeah sounds like coolant - the bane of my life. If its not draining its airlocked or coming out of some shrinkwrap or clip

Obviously your dealer didn't pdi it/ service it properly as the jubilee clips need checking every now and then.
