yes i love it, trouble now is it's getting cold and they will soon salt the roads, don't think it's a good idea to take it out in these conditions

Hi Guys - I'm new too and, having just sold my two-year old R1200GS, I really fancy one of those dark v-rods, partly because I suspect that the black engine and wheels will be much more practical for me. Can you ride these bikes all year round? What sort of tank range will you get with the 07 versions and their larger tank? I think that they're a stunning bike but I've been told that there all booked up until about March or April. I sold my bike last week and don't think that I can stay bikeless for that long ![]() Oh dear! Tried a Night Rod Special out on Friday morning at Chester HD and told the dealer I wouldn't be long, as I'd planned a short test route of A roads B roads and a bit of motorway. 5 minutes out and wasn't at all sure. 10 minutes out and things started to come together. Did the planned route 4 times in the end and just didn't want to take it back! Tried to buy the bike but was told that delivery would be April, so I went away to think about it. Rang around and Stockport had a cancelled order, which I bought, so get delivery next week. Needless to say - can't wait. Last edited by Davel; 06-01-2007 at 08:46 PM. Reason: Update |

There are times when you see something that you just know you have to have! ;) For range; I'd say something in the neighborhood of 150-175 miles; but much depends on how you ride............... |
