Changing Exhausts.

Hello all. I have an 02 VRSCA and want to change the exhaust to make it sound better (louder!).
I am looking at either the Sampson slip on cans that attach to the end of the standard system, or the Vance and Hines Q series Shotguns.
Can I just fit these without doing anything to the engine or do I have to have it re-mapped?

It will need remapping,or if you fit Vance & Hines it will come with the neccessary engine managemet package.
