I just think the problem is the charity we do it for. Most folk aren't interested in African kids orphaned by aids unless some celebreties are involved

So many charities were put forward after the first year it would have been impossible to single one out.

Like I say, they asked us and we said yes. This year.............well maybe, maybe not. We'll see if interest picks up ot not.

This stuff about the name of the centre. To leave a legacy is very important, but to broadcast it is not so important to me. Knowing I did something is good enough.

Just my 2p's worth.

Bet they're glad they didn't if we're baling on them after a couple of years.

Re: Ride for Life 2007

If we all put a fiver in to the pot it would collect some dosh without us having to do anything in the rain, and would also give us a breathing space to organise a RFL next year. If we use the justgiving website we wouldn't even have to move away from the PC screen!

Just a thought - shout me down if you want.

THREE times eh Sue? We've got wet twice already!

As Sue said if all the riders last year put their petrol money it cost us last year in a pot we could collect the same at least...LOL

Bit like getting sponsorship for a parachute jump years ago. It would have been less money on the NHS for you NOT to jump with all the broken legs that they had to look after.
