Dear Essjay,

Thank you for taking the time to walk over to my clinic on Monday, and wow! What a wonderful surprise to receive the envelope from you with £110 inside. Gosh thank you to each and every one of you for remembering The Global Natural Healthcare Trust and its work in South Africa. Your generosity really made my day, two hours before Essjay arrived we had just learnt that Virgin Unite which is the charity side of Virgin Trains, may not be able to assist the project as they had originally hoped, due to a buy/sell out to a new company. We all felt rather grim on hearing that news, and 2007 is looking very hard going. So the money sent by various Harley riders was greatly appreciated.

We planted loads of medical herb seeds this time, and decided to bring them in and we placed them on all the desks near the windows to get some the sun and good start, we shall plant out in September. Climate change is upon us and on my last visit I had to scrape ice off my 4x4 every morning!!!

The project continues on and more and more desperate patients find their way to us for help. I will be joined in September by Harley Kernow rider, Sylvia Moyle who will be helping with the annual orphan’s party; we shall give pictures to Essjay to post on your site.

£110 to some would not be a great deal of money, to us it was heaven and we shall put it to work by purchasing something for the Holistic Medical centre.
