importance of leathers

summers commin and warm weather so is time to ride in waistcoats,jeans etc

well after today im sticking to me leathers ,
some oik knocked me off and drove off leaving me in middle of roundabout with dented tank,bent brake pedal and few scars on me shin but nowt else,

if had left my leathers off like was going to do i dread to think what state my leg would be with exhaust lying on it and gravel rash

we all have achoice i guess but im allergic to hossie food so im stayin safe from now on

ride safe people and watch the idiots in cars there out to get you !!

Glad there was no damage to you!

But I'll still be switching to hood jeans with a kwevlar lining in the summer. May pop some knee armour in though, after Donwlander introduced me to the friend who smashed her knee up wearing Dragging Jeans.... (with knee armour)

Got me thinking that I really need to take this issue more seriously. Unfortunately, for me (and I suspect many more out there) it'll probably take an "event" to force me to come around!?!

good advice mate no fun lookin cool in casualty with jeans n waistcoat with road rash on arms n legs ,,,,full face crash helmet me after a crash years ago helmet goudged where my chin etc would have been exposed ,,,,,,,anyway safe fun riding suns coming soon
