Just a thought now we are going on the Saturday.
If I understand correctly,high tide is 11:46 and the causeway might be covered for an hour either side of this so we might want to set off at a time to miss this.
Otherwise we could just find a pub and have something to eat and a pint while we wait.

Unless you plan on leaving at 6:30 or thereabouts I reckon it'll be the pub n pint option then 'coz I think it takes around 3 & 1/2 hours to get there. Just hope the rain stops for a while as I've got a leak in me waterproofs

Just got in from the pub - I'll be there about 9:00 ish. I forgot to take the bike off the ramp & I ain't gonna try it tonight coz I've had a few See you at the petrol station then, Pete & Frank got my number if there's a problem
