Worth considering is Lo Jack who now do a UK tracking system - sounds great from what I've heard but pricey (2-300 squids + yearly maintenance) - see http://www.tracker.co.uk/home.php for more details. The drawback is that while it doesn't stop the SOBs from taking your ride (lojack doesn't advertise its presence to stop disablement), it enables it and them to be tracked down caught and retrieved at one fell swoop thereby (in theory) making it less likely to happen in the future.

I'd be interested to hear anyones experiences with this device.

yep done that myself tried ride off with disc lock on,funny when started going then stopped dead

good job didnt damage disc or caliper
