Good choice. Have you seen the video of them breaking a bolt cropper on one? Length is a tough one.If you want it long enough to go round frame and into ground anchor in garage, allways a good thing,it's going to be big and heavy to take out on the bike. Choice depends on how you want to use it.Best advice I can give is get some nylon rope etc and have a trial fit.Think about how it goes with the parts fitted to your bike like rests pipes etc.Where will you be able to thread it through when bike is hot. Sort out your ideal length, check out the weight on the web site, then do the guy thing and stick a pin in. |

Hi AgingHippy. As Limey_Dave said a good choice. If you click on the link to their website at the bottom, you can look the Series III chains and Squire padlock and a choice of ground anchors either the Hardie or the Defiant plus you get a free Kreiga lock bag. I think the best length would be 1.5 metres, so that it goes through your frame, wheel and ground anchor. Alternatively behind the engine over the gerarbox and through a gorund anchor (this may need a longer chain). So as Limey_Dave said get some nylon rope and measure it at least twice (just in case) making sure the ground anchor is on the inside of the bike against a wall making it hard to get at. All Products --- Almax Security Chains Ltd Hope this helps.

& If at all posible try to have to chain not in contact with the ground at any point this will make it far harder to smash the chain or lock
