PMs

Ive noticed much to my chagrin that more often than not when relying to a pm i can type out a reply or whatever only to find that the page didnt load up and there is no submit reply or preview button, sometimes i can get away with it by refreshing the page, but sometimes it will refresh as a blank.
as we cant copy what we wrote, we lose it, which is a tad annoying somewhat...

is it just me?

Chief and I both suffer with "pmt" (PMing troubles). so it's not just you.

Chief discovered that if you hit the back button (green round button with white arrow, on the toolbar at the top left of the screen, outside the website on my windows screen ) it recovers the pm you have just spent hours typing.

I quickly copy the contents with a view to pasting it into a new pm, usually having to log back into the site

As you can tell I am no IT guru, the above saves me having to start pms all over again.

Hope the above assists

Re: PMs

how do you manage to copy? that function is inhibited, and ctrl c doesn't work Baz,
back Ive always found just gives a blank page refresh sometimes works, and why is it only on Pm's not thread replies.

Oh and Mark thanks as always for your incisive input, and here's one from Me
BOLLOX!!!

Re: PMs

IE 6 same as me so this WILL work:-

If you are suffering with PMTyping, every now and again click onto PREVIEW BOX

you CAN then copy and paste from that text in the post box. Paste it onto a blank page ie email and then carry on.

OR type what you want to on an email spell check in your case STC... then transfer your copy to a blank pm message box and send straight away before you loose the page.

Sorted.?
