I keep getting logged out for instance when I just pecked out a long post which I then lost cos when I submitted it it logged me out. plus I want to edit my sig' and also get logged out every time I try. Is being on a library comp anything to do with it?

Make sure you're checking the 'Remember Me' checkbox when logging in.
Also ensure you're not blocking cookies in your browser, otherwise you will get logged out
