Missing Ads

Three of my ads have gone AWOL for some reason.
An older one is still on the board though.
Any idea what's occurring??

Cheers

Re: Missing Ads

Depends how long you selected when you placed the ad 30, 60 or 90 days, default is 30. The Ads get purged every week.

Re: Missing Ads

That might account for it then.
Just trying to get in touch with some guy who emailed about my drags and his address keeps bouncing my mail back.
Thought I might amend the add to contact him - assuming it was a genuine interested party that is.

Cheers Roger

Unhappy Re: Missing Ads

The thing I find frustrating to (say the least) is the number of spam emails I get from placing Ad's on this site. Getting really peed off with it now ............ Jeez I'm trying to sell me Heritage and all I get is Tossers emailing me!! Sorry if I've hijacked your thread.

Re: Missing Ads

Not at all mate I totally agree.
I had one this morning asking how much I want for my bike and telling me he'll pay by cheque..blah blah..shipping company..blah blah...friend will collect from my location...blah blah.
Three things pee me off about these prats..

1. They're so stupid that they think we'll buy into their BS even tho their english is so crap and they're obviously on a scam.

2. Having said the above, they obviously think we're as stupid as they are.

3. I don't even have a bloody bike for sale on here or anywhere else...just a pair of pipes and a seat???

It's not just here tho, it's the whole of the advertising media they're targeting.
To be honest, these days I tend to take a bit of a kicking and p/x to a dealer rather than run the risk of attracting these assholes.

It takes me about 45 minutes now just to release and then re-deploy (on my return) all the security devices I have on the garage and the bike.
What a world!!!

Sorry about that...feel a bit better now.
