WET Sunday 19th rideout

Three members met up on a wet Sunday 19th. Id got the bike dirty the night before at St Nic so I thought I might as well go the whole hog if you,ll excuse the pun and get wet again.We decided to ride down to Sandwich to classic bike meet rumoured to be taking place in the town centre. After setting out in a heavy drizzle it had dryed up by Manston and the Prospect Pub. When we arrived in bright sunshine a very impressive crowd had chanced the weather and a variety of bikes were on display from Enfields to a very rare Hesketh in mint condition as youd expect. The Harley brand was fairly well supported with about 8-10 bikes parked up. The sunshine allowed for a relaxed atmosphere with time for everyone to have a natter.Most people started dispersing around midday (presumeably to miss inpending rain) I wonder how many more people might have turned out had it not been for the weather? As Desmond as mentioned on another thread, theres the Sittingbourne bike show going on this Sunday, Ive been before in previous years, and to be honest it aint done much for me, but hey, its somewhere to go,so if they got the weather right for this weekend might be worth giving it a go. So Il pop up McDs at 10 and see if anyones there.

Hi mate. Was a fantastic morning at sandwich apart from the wet nuts on the way down. Nice to see someone else who enjoys cleaning the bike after getting it caked in mud. A couple of pics but they are naff. lens was dirty on the phone. Enjoyed yesterday as well. Felt a bit rude but had to get back to my new toy. It a beast.
