Re: Region 17 - Name your rides.

Must say you get me all amazed. Looks like I found the right collection of riders! My list is a little less short and impressive:
Taisan 50cc scooter (Twinkles)
Kymco 125cc (Ruby) - the first "inheritance" of my lovely hubby; brilliant ride, gorgeous curves... but I digress
Honda R500 (Filly)
Lifan 250cc (QuinYan)
Norton Enfield Bullet 500CC (Squaw Thunderbutt - well, it sounds better in German)
Harley Sportster XL883 custom (Blue Thunder)

Still got the Bullet, but we soon must part
I hate being sensible!

Anyway, seems like I get more into names for my bikes than my bikes themselves. Had that impression before. Must be the female side in me

Angus my Mate. One less than me. Brilliant. Now I can stop pacing the streets muttering about people not keeping bikes long enough to fill the tank up and feeling generally hard done by and deprived.

Maria. I often name my bikes too, especially in those quiet moments which shouldn't be quiet.

Re: Region 17 - Name your rides.

Thank God Urrell posted his.

GT125 - 14000 rpm of GT185 wannabe but so much ruddy fun.
GT380 with Rickman half fairing, that Motorcycle City in Farnborough took off me for a:
XS650 (none of your SE or LTD here boys). Had it bored to 750, with reverse cone megas that I thought sounded the dog's b....
XV750SE - the first one in the country, even beat the 'gentlemen' of the press to that one. Took me around most of northern Europe. Did 200k on the bloody thing. Gave up replacing starter motors after the 3rd died, but had such a soft compression ratio that I bumped started it 1st time every time for 80k of its life.
MZ250 - 'Nuff said
GT250K - poor little bugger was already close to mechanoid death when I got it.
Monster - customised S&S 96" FXR-based lunacy. Can lift its front wheel in first three gears. Soon to be for sale
'05 Super Glide - just bought last week. Very sedate and grounds out way too easily, but already winning a place in my heart. Soon to have new zorsts, uprated carb and air filter, maybe a bigbore......

I keep looking on ebay for another CB200 I would think that my old one has long since passed away.
