Sunday 4th May - The Harley-Davidson Riders Club Great Britain

Got to McDs at 10 to find the longest line of bikes there in quite a while, around 13 I think, plus a couple of pillions, some went for a more local ride due to other commitments, while Al, Mark,Martin,Darren,Cuthroat me and Janie decided to go to Dungeoness.
At Brenzett, Al did one of his famous last minute manouvers and pulled into the petrol station there,thinking he needed a top-up we all did a u-turn and followed him in, but he had spotted Pete Stupple plus daughter and her boyfriend, so 8 bikes set off again, we didnt get to Dungeoness, Al pulled in at the Oasis Diner nr Lydd, and we had brekkie there.
From Lydd we went to Samphire Ho for a coffee, served with a smile by 'Happy Go Lucky Frank' after talking bolox for a while we had some more tales of violence by Cuthroat, its an interesting life he has led. We did try and persuade him to lose his flags, but he wernt having any of it, we parted company then with some going home, Mark went off to score a free dinner at his mums while me Janie and Al nipped down to the new service area on the M20 to have a look see where my daughter has just started a new job. Then back down Stone Street to Canterbury where Al shot off home, and we headed back to Margate.
All in all a really good day, sunshine (I was wondering if I'd ever see it again) good company and approx 140 miles covered (for me anyway) Only downside was, I forgot my new camera,so no pics...

Oh well next time.

Me Mark, Tony Bill and Rog went down to palm bay instead. Bill decided to melt a bag to his exhaust and Tony had his chips bike so we thought we were being followed by the old bill.

Went out later on the Z and saw Chris and Janie on the way out and Chris solo on the way back.
