| No 17 Badge.
I have spoke about trying this on a few occasions. If I can make a digger I am sure I can make a 17 badge. Who is interested in a stainless number 17 badge for there bike to denote the region. ? There will be lots of options. Stick on badge, Different sizes and locations, LED surround etc... |

What about doing one similar to the old car GB badges, oval black background with a polished rim, polished raised numerals in an interesting type face.. A good adhesive back and possibly with 'HDRCGB' the region number following the lower curve of the oval (under the region number) I guess that would be too fiddly.. but its a thought.. Brigger |

Rod, If you're doing a 17 badge for the bike it would be good to use the same font as used in the Region logo and patches (Lucida Calligraphy). Take a look at Kevin's patches. I know that there was talk with Al over a Foundry recently of a timing cover in stainless with 17 on it. Could you do a sample? Is that still a possibility? If you can make them in numbers to order and put a profit on them so the club can make a few quid from each one, together with a profit for you - then all the better. JohnT

I am not getting involved in the one design for all as we all know we like our harley's to be different and we would never decide. If you would like a badge PM me with any number 17 design Idea and I will attempt to make it for you. Any Profits will be donated to the club fund via Big Al if necessary however this is not a profit making adventure just a service I would like to offer as a one off to R17 members. |

Ok so whats the diameter of a timing cover ? Is it flat and does it need any bolt holes or can it stick on. A picture appreciated. A visit from a bike even better. Brigger. That is no problem. What size ? Get in whilst I have lots of enthusiasm. |
