Not me, took me truck on the Chatham to Margate Bucket n Spade run today!

Group of 11of us yanks came back in convoy. We made lots of noise in the tunnel on the Thanet way. Did not think I could get noisier than a group of Harley's but we were!

Great fun.

As Bill says club support was excellent with anywhere between 10 to 15 bikes on the stand at any one time, H.O.G. managed----------4 Saturday nights bands were good with Madness Ska type band doing a 1 hour non stop set with numbers from bad Manners, Specials, Fun Boy Three, Selecter, and Dave & Ansell Collins. 10pm saw Peterborough band The League of Mentalmen take too the stage dressed in Geri Halliwell Union Jack mini dresses and Mohawk haircuts. With a style they describe as Punk Frock they did their covers rangeing from Green Day to Jame Blunt all done with good punk riff. Only down side of the day was when some mindless tw**ts stole and wrecked Eddie Kidds gazebo during the night leaving just a table at which to do autograph signings and photos, fortunatley region 17 were able to help out, with nine people,one on each leg, the spare old tent we were using for sleeping in and luggage park was carried fully erected across the entire showground and placed down on Eddies pitch for the rest of the day to enable him to carry on under cover.
