I wasn't expecting to get in for free. Just can't stay due to having to get back for little one. Now I am confused. Ł12 to bring the bike in seems fine for me even for 3 of 4 hours. Some one clear it up for me.

| Re: Pitch and Party Clarification for Pitch and Party If a bike comes through the gate it has a sticker put on it to say the owner has paid for rider, and pillion if there is one, to enter the rally site. Rider /pillion also get wrist band. Sticker and wrist band means that you have access to site, can leave and come back at any time over the weekend, and stay to enjoy the entertainment. Wrsit bands are checked against bike reg for security purposes on leaving site. There are no day tickets/ half day passes or anything. If you leave bike outside you do not pay, but you also would be refused entry to bands, bike show etc as no wrist band. Its simple - honest!

Thanks sue. I am sure I am not the only one wanting to pop in and say hello. I think Brassed off Tony is doing the same. I may even get over my anxiety attacks one day and stay over.

Rod, I think you are confusing a rally with a show, a show you pay to get in and there is plenty to do and see, but a rally during the day you usually have to entertain yourself, whether it be propping a bar up and chatting with friends old and new on site or taking a stroll to a local pub which is usually the way, it's only in the evenings that a rally really comes to life and if you have a day pass this is where one of your friends in R17 has to tap you on the shoulder and tell you to leave, but we are all too nice for that so it is better to have a price and that is it. When you get over your anxiety attacks you will have to come to a rally with me, some are not as nice and friendly as HDRCGB events. Anyway see you saturday. Brian |

I am starting to see that. Its not a show so I may give it a miss and go for a long ride instead.

What I don't understand is that a region is having a rally and need help organising it and not everyone helps? When someone sees a regional badge on your jacket and say's I really enjoyed your last rally and you say...Oh I went for a long ride!.... |
