Thanks everyone for all your kind birthday wishes, I really appreciate that

Had a great birthday and weekend. Went to the Portsmouth area for 3 days. Friday night was a company get together at TGI Friday eat and drink as much as you could in 6 hours .. excellent as it was on me birthday as well and I did not spend a penny and just managed to stay horizontal with some sideways degree of list.

Saturday morning went to the Harley dealer at Dockgate 20 Southampton, did the Portsmouth tourist trip, Victory, Mary Rose, harbour tour etc, then stayed at Gun Wharf in Portmouth, lovely meal a few beers and bed. Great weekend and great weather.

Arrived home this afternoon to see you guys and gals had a few ride outs over the weekend. Catch you soon, although may be a few weeks as we are off to the Scottish Highlands on the bike soon.

If only you had mentioned you were going to be in Southampton, I would have asked you to pop in and water my student son's plants, put the bins out etc while he is enjoying being at home, drinking his mum and dad's beer and eating us out of house and home!

Seriously though, sounds as though you had a great weekend - much deserved.
