| Re: Local Rally Its amazing how alcohol loosens the inhibitons. Had a couple of beers with Locust in the evening, thanks for the company mate! Then a bit of 'idiot' dancing before i got too pissed to move. Took three attempts to find my tent, which apparently was cleverley disguised as my tent. Could open the zip, bloody thing had siezed on some material, so crawled underneath the flysheet, got stuck coz I'm a fat git.. Then thankfully slipped in that instant drunken sleep... Had a bloody good time, the Sisterhood put on a good bash, I will certainly go to the next one, depending what the new landlord allows.... Brigger ![]() |

| Re: Local Rally Was really great to see some familiar faces and lots of new ones of course. Sorry we missed you Brian but, family circumstances dictate that we can't always do what we really would like to... ![]() A friendly bunch of people, always nice to meet others (whether guys or gals) who share the same interests. I was pleasantly surprised to meet the lady I bought my Virago (fondly known as my 'Hardley' ) from; she is still riding on 'L Plates' but has her test booked for the end of September, so, fingers crossed. Showed her the Sporty and hope that it gives her inspiration to join us. Glorious 17th!The Palm Tree is a lovely pub, and, who knows a possible weekender for all those that are interested in camping and good company at some point in 2009. How about sometime over the Easter break? Els x
