Re: wet wet wet

I hate to be a prophet of doom, but it looks like 'wet wet wet' right through the weekend, which doesn't bode well for the Foundry festivities as I was hoping to take the 'Bones' out for a test ride! Maybe not!

Still it's good to see that 'love is all around' in this thread!

Re: wet wet wet

Even though I prefer not to get my sporty wet due to all the cleaning required nowadays it is actually possible to take a bike out in the rain

Re: wet wet wet

And if it's a test ride on the dealer's bike, who cares what state it gets back in?

Go on, y'know you want to...

Re: wet wet wet

do they allow test rides in the rain? a couple of dealerships i have been to over the years (harleys and others) wont allow it as obviously the risk of damage is higher. Also means someone has to then clean it up ready for the next test pilot

Personally i like riding in the rain, as long as im prepared for it and have the right gear on and its not really shitting it down

Me too, I don't mind it at all - fewer numpties out very often, and particularly in summer rain the air feels so much fresher too.
