Oil warning

You guys in Kent, I was travelling home from Dover last night, getting off the M20 at Ashford, Gt Chart and along the A28 towards Coasterland, there was a head on at the bends just past Bethersden - the road before the bends was covered in diesel (which probably caused the RTA) . I had been smelling the diesel for some time and had seen the telltale colours on the wet road so was taking it very carefully. A guy who lived nearby told me that the oil was "all along the A28" - I thanked him and found another way home via the back road toward Smarden and on to Biddenden.

If you are considering going along the A28 between Gt Chart towards High Halden/ Tenterden check that the Authorities have cleaned the road - and be careful
