....Ok peeps, back on track, so is the general feeling good about this potential change of monthly venue ? Thought I'd have had more input..especially from the Thanet bunch...as they would have to travel further...

Looks good Chris. I always think that with a bike meet venue the most important things are a decent size car park, friendly landlord and good beer & food. The location is secondary,providing it's not a million miles away. I don't think it necessarily matters if the meets are not in specific areas.Anyway,it would be nice to actually warm my engine up for a change lol.

Called into Fabs today after a ride,and had a bite to eat,also had a chat with Fab about when we could use the diner,he's happy for us to go anytime,either weekdays or Saturday nights, I said our club meet was 3rd Sat,he was Ok with this,he said Hot Rodders use the Diner on the last Saturday of the month so no clash there,tho could be interesting to pay a visit on their night.
If we did change venue hes willing to offer us a 20% discount on production of your current HDRCGB card. The food was good and the menu very comprehensive. The carpark is as I remembered it, large and gravel free.Theres also a petrol station right next door.

As Sue says we will have to have it entered in the Quinn,also let non webbers know of any change we may make in meeting venue, Id still like to get a few members to go 'check it out' The only objection I can see is from maybe the ;real alers' who would prefer a pub,having said that we are riding/driving anyway so shouldnt really be drinking,(pillions/passengers excluded) Id still like some more views on it,before we make a final commitment.

Went to fabios on A2 after visit to foundry ,seems good place to me ,clean n tidy n good grub .Turnaround points easy enough ,if coming from canterbury ,take left after the gate inn ,boughton dunkirk turning and head back on A2 1 mile,
