OK latest on the 'new' monthly meet venue...after asking around...and having some more thoughts on it myself...I reckon Fabs is probably a no-go. My reason being,in summer with 20+ bikes,he will be willing to stay open for us...(he shuts normally at 8) but...in NOV,DEC, JAN when theres only 5 of us in 2 cars...will he be so keen to do an extention..I doubt it, nor would blame him...so the hunt goes on..looked at a couple 2day after leaving Foundry me Janie Yvette and MartinB called into the Crown at Sarre...lovely pub good landlord (a Led Zep man) but he did say on a Saturday night he is heaving...its a hotel as well,so no room in the inn for 17 unfortunately...went on to Blean,and called in the Hare & Hounds..had a Shandy (doing this for you lot, you know ) and this could be OK,it is on a main Rd,( Whit-Cbury) but the beer gardens large enough and the carpark is too.Its also been suggested the Grove Ferry Inn or the Sportsman at Cliffsend...any thoughts on these,as after last month at the Bell (monsooning down and sheltering under a tree! (no room inside) we need somewhere....and quick.

I've occasionally seen some Harley's hanging around the New Inn in Minster, Thanet, on my travels, so they are probably biker friendly. They also have a tarmac carpark if my memory serves me right!
