Re: Sunday 14th Footprints

well wot a turn out!!! prob one of the best to date! weather of course helped. 20+ bikes at mc donalds,, and pat nostalgia was one of the late arrivers!!! lol (u kno im only jokin pat) onto glidin club 4 brekky, which little bill had the crafty idea of phonin beforehand so his brekky would b waitin 4 him,,unfortunately this backfired and he was last 2 b served! then onto Footprints 2find out exactly wot goes on behind the scenes.. only word i can find to describe it is,,"AWESOME" such a beautiful place which is run with such passion. the kids r obviously extremely happy and well cared for. after sittin in garden n gettin burnt some of us headed off to herne bay 4 ice cream,, sat in sun again(chris now looks like a radish!) then headed home, losin little bill at brooksend, so myself n chris along wiv rubber duck turned bak to go find him,, nowhere 2 b found!!! typical bet he went ova way just 4 a larf! time for dinner now... Hal.. dont forget pics

Yep Janies right. A day in the sun and also seeing those great kids and adults at Footprints, I think we made their day, especially the young lady sat on cut throats bike for a photo. Great turnout of bikes, see you all soon.

Re: Sunday 14th Footprints

Great day guys and gals, as always with good friends and company. It was Malcolms fault i was late!! as it was raining at Wingham so he took it easy round the lanes. Yes think we had a total of 25 bikes at one time, a big thanks to all who came today and we raised £42.45 this morning so thanks for your support. Isn't it a great caring place, needs to be seen just to appreciate how hard everyone works looking after the children and what they have to do to fund it all. Was good the guy turned up from K M to take some pics and as always looking forward to Hals views of the day. Chris is going to give journalist at KM a run down of the day and HDRCGB
Thanks again to all who came to support the day, and rounded it off with sit in the sun and an ice cream at Herne Bay,

Brilliant day, thanks Pat, awesome charity and a very humbling experience, puts things in perspective.

Gliding club for breakfast, how did you find that little gem?

Look forward to seeing you all again for another ride out.
