Re: Sunday 14th Footprints

I cannot really add to what has been said by everyone already already, but it was exactly as Gaz said " a brilliant day, thanks Pat, awesome charity and a very humbling experience, puts things in perspective".

And especially when we left and rode to Herne Bay for a ice cream ... sometimes we just take things for granted.

Also I must do something about all the plain walls in my house Thanks again Pat a really eye opener of a day.

A few pictures on the link below.

Thanks to everyone for their company today. What a moving experience for all of us. Got all choked up telling Christine about it. Well done Alan. You really captured the feel of the place with the pics.

Re: Sunday 14th Footprints

Forgot to say I called in the Dancing Dog on the way home and spoke to Shaun about organising a Sunday visit for the kids and carers. He is fully up for it and is happy to provide lunch, music and line dancing if appropriate. Just need to arrange a date through Pat and the Footprints staff.

Re: Sunday 14th Footprints

Having just looked at Hal's excellent (as always) pictures and read some of the posts, it seems this was both a really enjoyable and at the same time humbling visit for all who attended.

I am really sorry that Els and I were unable to be there. I wouldn't have missed this one by choice.

Well done Pat for nominating this charity. Well done Gliding Club and well done for the continuing good work of all the staff at Footprints.
