Re: The Bell 18th

Planning to be at Foundry between 12-2 Gary said he may pop over from Borough Green to say hi.
Not sure about Bell but intend to take second look tomorrow sometime at Grove Ferry Inn as under new managent. It's local, has car park with tables on grass as well as large beer garden. Just need to see what rear of pub fronting onto river is like now and if it has none restaurant bar to sit.

Re: The Bell 18th

Went to Foundry, was a few members there, numbers down due to Triple I guess, also called in for a shandy at Grove Ferry, (possible new venue for SE) but to be honest its new owners are turning it into a gastro-pub with a vengeance, cant see our bikes going down too well (taking up parking spaces of grub eaters) also huge outside areas, but again in winter it will be a struggle to find tables inside,as all of them had place settings (as in anticipation of people eating) I know Pat is going to take a look,I wonder if he will see what I saw?
