Very quiet in 17

I notice we are having another quiet period here in 17, is this because we are all out riding our bikes more..(no I doubt that) is it because we are posting elsewhere? ..(no I dont think we are) so why ?

We wont keep the top spot unless we keep the threads and posts going. So come on what are you all up to ?....

Thought the same, I must say. It's been so quiet this week and yes, I have been on the 'glide every day, all be it for work with the odd detour at home time. Making the most of this lovely weather. Nippy first thing this morning though.

maybe its because very little happens in most of the region despite the hard work put in by the reps. i for one hardly ever log-on to the site cos i now find my own events and go by myself AND

although some people seem to enjoy giving their life history in these threads they are 'open' threads and are available to read by anyone on the internet so i dont do that either.

Re: Very quiet in 17

Well I'm at home with a long face .. work is crap at the moment and my bike is broke.

Returned from Belgium last Friday and noticed the rear cylinder exhaust had broke just where it splits into two. I had it booked into the Foundary for 11.00 am this coming Monday, rung them today to check everything ok as I was booking a days holiday and was told oh parts not due in until December.

How can that be, this is a common failure on the TC88 models. You could build a complete new bike in 3 months. What if I had just turned up in Canterbury on Monday ... totally unacceptable.

So see you in the snow on a Christmas ride out
