Re: england my england

This is what we've got to look forward to now for about 5 months, it aint good is it ?
I often think the worst thing my parents ever did to me was not to emigrate as 'ten pound poms' in the 60s like some of my mates at school did.
Oh well someones got to stay here and pay the taxes so everyone else can just move here and live for nothing...so it may as well be us Bill.

It will be brighter in the mornings after putting your clocks BACK tonight.

Could be worse there are always people worse off than us and if you have your health that is worth more than sunshine and money.

Re: england my england

Bloody hell Bill, just when I thought the region was turning into 'Tumble Weed Junction'...!!

Dark and miserbable.

Its lashing it down here in Yalding....

Already been out on my bike (Dawes) done a modest 10km.

Feeling the bottom of my lungs even though I dont smoke.

Now doing my final account to Grain f-ck are they going to pay this month.

Since I've been off (10 days now) I have applied for 63 jobs, had two interviews and have two second interviews next week. So fingers crossed.

Did Hoggin the Bridge last Sunday with friends I met on Holiday in Turkey Bob and Shirley she has a superb trike called Dream Catcher and sprayed as the name suggests.. they rode down from Birmingham. Another memorable ride. Great support from the 'Gogs'.

As with just about everything, had yet another problem with the bike, after a great run on Friday to my parents in Swindon 127 miles in 150 minutes.... On the morning of HOTB the bloody battery was flat!! Still jumped and away in 10 minutes.

The Saturday before, was RTTW went up with the Coasters (come on 17 life exists beyond Planet Thanet)...

Met Eden Phil and the rest at Oxford Services, Then a good ride with about 10 or so bikes to Market Drayton, incredible scenes, never seen so many lines of machine and a terrific atmosphere. Phil kindly took my photo at the head of the ride before it started....

Rode home alone as I need to get home and prepare for Brightona.

Every trip has its drama, my bloody Badass Horn Cover ($199.00) vibrated off, not suprised it weighed about a kilo and I watched it slide down the M40 at 70mph. Totally fucked.

Brightona, all the usual suspects.... good but cold and another bloody magical mystery tour home....!!!

You may have noticed form a previous post, just over a week ago my car was vandalised in Penrhyndeudraeth and hit by a HGV on either Thursday night or Friday morning.....

So Bill if you are feeling glum, I should be suicidal, but mate each day is a gift, and another challenge....

I may need to get Harley Chic or Maid in Cornwall to give me a bit of Wiccan cleansing.

Some of you may be suffering from the onset of SAD (seasonally adjusted disorder), but shit thats just a state of mind.....

Come on Bill 'Carpe Diem'.....

Oooer! Is that the irrigation thingy with tubes and lots of water???

You lot darn in Sarf East should be grateful - up here in t' Grim North its been Winter for a couple of months already. Mr Sun only comes up briefly for a few hours a day.

Was hoping for a bit of Global Warming this year to avoid the barbie being put out by t'wind and rain..........
