Jan's BBQ - 5th July

It's that time of year again, the annual BBQ at Jan's! Saturday 5th July 08.

Due to other commitments, this year’s BBQ will not coincide with the Calstock Bike Show, so sorry but unavoidable I'm afraid.

For those of you that have attended during past 4 years all the arrangements are the same; camping from Friday until u wanna go home or just Saturday afternoon/evening if you prefer not to stay, the choice is totally yours.
All food is provided by Chris and myself but please provide your own liquid refreshment of the alcoholic type, although tea and coffee on tap.
Camping as usual in the garden or field.

I spoke to Paul our Region 12 Rep yesterday evening, who has kindly agreed to make all the necessary arrangements for the provision of a porta loo for you hardy males, whilst us girlie's get to go indoors. (No lads, it's NOT where we belong)!

For anyone intending to come along for the first time, please take a tip from me and make a note of my phone number. As I am a little tucked away there may be a chance you might go a little astray despite the signs; if this happens just give me a ring and we will either give you verbal directions or someone will come and meet you and guide you in.

The all important phone number is 07870574885.

For any further information please feel free to either pm me or Chris Holland or give either of us a call.

Children more than welcome (if they misbehave I can always feed them to the pigs!!) and if the weather is good pack their cozies as they can play in the pool (not the pond).

Re: Jan's BBQ - 5th July

Hi Jan and Chris (met briefly at River Dart), many thanks for the invite . . can't make it this year I'm afraid but it sure sounds like a lot of fun. Don't know how you're going to cope with supplying all that food, but I'm sure everyone will be thoroughly appreciating the hospitality . . such a shame I can't make it, would have been nice to get to know you better.

Have a great time
