the region was fairly well attended we had 14 region 12 members there,
the OZ showground is still looking tired and needs some love and care plus
some money spent to bring it into the 21 centerty
the toilets haven't in proved in the 4 years that this site has been used
the showers were good. the best thing is the people, the members of are
great club to meet new and old friends this makes up for the poor facilities
a few portaloos on the site would make all the difference
will i go next year yes will the site improve i dont know
thanks for the friendship that was with everybody i meet and it was good meeting younger members
thanks to the organisers for there hard work and the regions for pulling there

I agree John, it was my first visit to oz as a new member,and the only faults with the rally was the toilet facilities and the lack of food choice.If both were improved you would not have to leave the site all weekend. With 3 days of guinness ,fry ups and burgers you need these basic facilities, otherwise a fantastic rally, thanks to pastyman,music and co for riding up with me. and the members of region 25 for letting me party with them what a great bunch.
sorry Lumpy got yellow carded for being intimidating but if big hairy bikers with tattoos and leather jackets frighten you maybe you were in the wrong place. looking forward to meeting up with everyone again on mercy island next month. Thanks to all the organisers for all the hard work.
p.s nice raccoon hat Kev but I would not be prez for all the tea in China

YEP I have to agree with this some thing needs to be done. I have sent a note to the Quin asking questions.
The people/friends that were there had a good time but it needs to improve
or next year will be a disaster.

Hi Andy,

A Little note regarding Oz.

I am sure all that went had a great time as I did owwww my poor head lol. Would like to send my thanks to all that put in all the hard work setting the rally up and making
all the ralliers welcome. The bands were very good and certinly got us rocking.
Now to the sad bit I was sorry to see so few stands this year and there were a few food wagons missing.
But my main concern is the lack of support by the members. What is wrong? I am sure the comitee would like to know. There must be concerns for next year it should be the
main rally of the year but I am afraid if the support is not there its going to be a disaster.
Could we not get some input from the members what do you want !!! come on guys and galls lets make it a rally to be proud of

Hi guys, sorry we did not make it, feel a tad bad really, but after our 10 days out in france with minimum sleep was totally shot. First lay in was sunday & needed it.
Defo getting older anyway glad you all had a good time and hope to catch up soon.

So that we can keep things in one place, I'll start a thread in the Virtual Rally section to gather your comments about Oz 2008.

Those of you who've already commented here, could I ask that you copy them onto that thread as well; that way we can all have one nice tidy discussion instead of it being fragmented throughout the site.
