Re: powder coating

I have also had a load of stuff done by 1st Choice last winter, good quality and reasonable prices.

I think WM Ironworks in Newton Tracey in N Devon also do powder coating now as well.

Re: powder coating

Hmmmmmmmm, this is something I'm thinking about too. Anyone know roughly how much a decent powder coat job on a swingarm costs? (Apologies for the slight hijack )

Re: powder coating

Hi Shifty, I had a swinging arm done by 1st choice a couple of years ago for a mate and if memory serves me correct they charged me about a tenner (don't quote me on that though), but I was getting some wheels and stuff done for myself.

Re: powder coating

Thanks, that's cheaper than i would have thought.

Not having a garage or a shed (bike lives in the yard), and cos I'm not the greatest mechanic, I'd have to factor in labour for removal & refitting, but still not that scary.
