Paul, i have noticed that there is a meeting point at junction 27 (m5) at 10am. Is this still going ahead or everyone to meet at Honiton?

Re: sundas,s ride out

Thanks Paul . . just got back, had a really enjoyable time and a lovely long ride. The weather was horrendous to begin with . . thick, cold, damp FOG at Honiton and beyond . . but it soon cleared (just after Nick left us, always the way ) and the sun came out to warm us up nicely. From then on, it was perfect riding weather. We made a few directional errors . . but didn't care in the slightest ! Ended up at the Railway Museum in Swindon and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not quite sure about the KFC lunch, but it looked better than the Pizza's anyway.

Shame it was such a poor turn out though . . only 4 bikes made it to Swindon (and 2 of those were Kernow riders, Howard, and Brian on his new ElectraGlide) . . so only 2 from Region 12. Hopefully there'll be a better show on the next ride out.

We did manage to find a rather nice lady Harley rider on the way back along the M4 - she looked very nice in her leathers , and she wasn't slow either

Anyway, cheers guys, nice day out ! Hope to see you all at Bovey next Wednesday.

Red face Re: sundas,s ride out

Many thanks for a good day out paul, Railway museum thoroughly enjoyable and the route to swindon very scenic. It was good to meet you steve and Nick (although brief!) Got to say though--Where were all the other region 12 riders?
