Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show 14/15 Feb 2009

No Problem Geoff. thank you again for taking the time to drop the stuff off.. It sure helped to brighten up the marqueethat we erected.

First day went very well, with quite a few people droping in to say hello and taking away mebership forms. also a lot of members stopping by to have a chat and a cup of tea. And we won a prize for the best private entry? Didn't we Iain...

Lets hope that sunday is just as good?

PS congratulations to JJ for picking up second prize for a private entry with his Panther. Result....

Thanks to all that helped or popped in over the weekend, especially those that erected and dismantled the stand. It was a great success with lots of interest and brill working and chatting with guys and gals from different regions...we must meet up more often. My jaw aches from all that talking (have to get some lessons from Caroline & Janine). JJ won a first and second for his Panther.

Well done everyone ! Great to see so many members taking an interest in promoting the club, especially with it being quite a distance away. Well done Iain for stepping forward to get everyone organised, never an easy task.

Nice to see JJ winning some prizes . . well deserved , it's a lovely old bike . . a bit like it's owner

Had a great day out on Saturday, but it took nearly 3 hours to clean the bike when I got home
