Bristol Classic Bike Show 14/15 Feb 2009

JJ has managed to get us free space for a club stand on the balcony at the Classic Bike at the Bath & West Showground at Shepton Mallet. He is showing his bikes so will be up there all weekend to help on the stand and will be there on the Friday to help set up. We need volunteers to help man the stand over the weekend and to help set up on Friday. We will hopefully have some tickets for volunteers. For info on the show see Classic Bikes Shows.

Count me in as well - it is usually a good show (much better than the BMF one) good to have our club represented at these events.

Give the guys in region 14 (West Country) a shout and make it a BIG show! I don't remember the last time the club put on a stand at the event.

Are you going to contact them Iain ? or Paul ?

Good idea to do something special with quite a few representing the club

I have posted a message on Region 14 forum and also told Barrie Reid from Talgarth and Buff from Region 19 as they were involved in the BMF show at Shepton Mallet.

Any ideas on accommodation Iain ? Are you intending on staying up there for the weekend or travelling up every day ? I expect there's a cheap Travelodge nearby.

I daresay most of you will have seen it, but there's a thread on Region 14 about this show.

Do have a look at my comments on there please, it'd be great for the Club to get your two regions working together to make a success of this show.

Rgds
