Sunday ride to Cheddar Gorge 5th July

Hopefully the weather will stay fine for our ride to Cheddar Gorge (via the scenic route). Paul's consulting his map . . so which route we take will be anyone's guess

The main starting point will be the car park by the Law Courts in Honiton at 10am. If I remember correctly, you get to it by turning at a set of traffic lights in the main high street.

For those coming from the Torbay area, we'll be meeting up in the Sainsbury's car park at the Pen Inn Roundabout at 9am . . leaving promptly (not 10 past Nick ).

Don't forget . . the weekend after, it's the Beach BBQ, camping at Widemouth Bay at Bude. Paul needs to know numbers asap . . it's £12 per pitch, per night . . and a few people (TK) have suggested going on the Friday afternoon to enable a ride-out along the coast road etc on the Saturday. Most people will just be going up on Saturday and leaving on the Sunday.
Paul is taking the club BBQ and beers from the rally, and JJ is sorting out the burgers. Please let Paul know if you're going (by phone, because he doesn't have internet access at the moment).

We'll sort out meeting points for Bude next week

PS - Steve Dickens' band is playing at the Lee Mill Pub this Saturday night, the Hamsters are playing somewhere on Friday, and there's a Hendrix tribute band (from Holland) also playing this Friday at the Parkers Arms in Paignton.

Steve - I should be okay for Sunday ride out & I'm definite for the Saturday after & would love to come Friday but I've consumed enough over the past few weeks to last all year so will probably give the Friday a miss.

Re: Sunday ride to Cheddar Gorge 5th July

Hi Guys - Sorry I missed the turn off at Bridgwater as I was boxed in the third lane and couldn't move over....I tanked it down to Taunton and came up the A38 expecting to meet you by the camping centre but I was caught at the lights by Creech Castle and must have just missed you.

I eventually went up to Bridwater and the called Steve M but the heavens opened and i got soaked! I tried to find you but I gave up and came home.

Never mind...theres always next week. Great day out though & thanks Paul.
