Re: Hoggin the Bridge! - 18/10/2009

I stayed the night in a local B&B last year . . and the town centre was completely empty in the evening. Had a very quiet meal and a couple of pints in a fairly deserted pub . . . still, it was quite relaxing after the hectic day

Where and what time are you meeting, no doubt it will be after a hearty breakfast. I will be staying over in Torquay on Saturday night.
Looking forward to the run hopefully it will be better weather than today which is pretty pants in Cornwall.

Re: Hoggin the Bridge! - 18/10/2009

Hi Stuart. The run starts from Aust services at 11 o clock on sunday so i would think we will have to leave penn inn at 0830 stopping at exeter services and junction 27 thats 2 1/2 hours from penn inn to the start with perhaps a fuel stop for the small tanks say at gordano services. the run is about 25miles but it is a fairly slow run after thr bridge as we go through some 15miles of roads lined will people to wave at. sure makes you feel good.so you could do with a break at aust before the run starts. Hope to see you there.
