I bought my first Harley from Mark an 883R converted to 1200 back in 2002. I bought it just before moving to Scotland, picked the bike up and rode it straight here. About a month later the rev counter packed up. being 800 miles away I got a local shop to check it out and confirm it was the rev counter at fault. Mark was great and sent me a replacement rev counter with no hassle and on the word of a mechanic he had never met. Now being in mind I was 800 miles away and unlikely to become a regular customer he could so easily fobbed me off or offered to do the work if I brought the bike back to the shop etc but he did the right thing. If I still lived in Devon I would use him all the time.

Shame they did not put a sign on the door saying where they had gone as I missed the chance to spend some money there yesterday.
Dont know when I will be over that way again.
